We are proud to publicly announce the creation of the society for Whistler Ski Patrol.

This society was created to provide an avenue for Whistler Mountain Ski Patrollers to have a presence in the valley, to have a unified voice, to legitimize fundraising, and to preserve the history and culture of the profession. This process is guided by some fundamental values that are subject to change as the society grows and evolves. Our guiding values are:

• Professional excellence
• Environmental stewardship
• Lifelong friendships and connections
• Unified voice for members
• Support for one another

The Whistler Patrol Society was registered under the BC Societies Act in February 2024, along with a Blackcomb Patrol Society. Combined Whistler Blackcomb Patrol and Whistler Blackcomb Rescue Dog Societies were also registered for possible future use.

Becoming a member:

Voting Membership is open to all current full time and part time Ski Patrollers on Whistler Mountain. 
Non-voting Membership is open to all Volunteers, Doctors and Alumni.

For this inaugural year, a membership fee of $50 is being set in order to assist with the seemingly endless start up costs. With that fee each member will receive a limited edition patroller neck buff.

A FAQ document is in the works as we begin this exciting chapter. We ask for your patience and support as we grow this society and spread our wings across the valley.
